Comcast has partnered with Nutmeg Big Brothers Big Sisters to launch ''Beyond School Walls'', a program where elementary school students are matched with company employees for one-on-one mentoring sessions. Twenty employees from Comcast are currently serving as ''Bigs'' (adult mentors) to twenty ''Littles'' (children being mentored) from the Lincoln Elementary School in New Britain. The ''Bigs'' meet with their ''Littles'' at Comcast's Western New England Region headquarters (222 New Park Drive, Berlin, CT 06037) for 1 1/2 hours every other week, where they play games, tackle some schoolwork and engage in meaningful conversations. The attached photos are from a special media event that celebrated the unique partnership between Comcast and Nutmeg Big Brothers Big Sisters.
